There are exactly two weeks left until the official opening of the 2010 Canadian International Autoshow, and boy am I excited! Fortunately for all of us, I’ve managed to attain media credentials for the first time ever, thanks to the kind folks behind the Show. It’ll be a real treat to experience a totally different perspective as I attend my favourite automotive event of the year for the dozenth time!

There’s only one slight dilemma — I purchased an adult ticket early on, and now I don’t need it. Sure, I could visit the Show again as a regular attendee, but I have a better idea: I’m going to give it away to one of you lucky readers!!

I will be live-tweeting the entire media day on Thursday, February 11, as I will witness first-hand official launches and releases, so I’d appreciate some guidelines on what you want me to tweet or blog about in my final review at the end of the night. And if you win, then I’m going to need your full name and some sort of personal identification so that the Autoshow desk can prove that I’m really giving my ticket over to you, and of course I won’t abuse your private info!

In past years, I have written my Autoshow reviews from a very candid, personal attitude. Now that I’ve been “upgraded” to reporter status, I might be inclined to alter the way I present the 2010 Autoshow review. But make no mistake — if something aggravates me, the Angry Chinese Driver in me will shine through!

P.S. Lucky for all of us, this time around I’ve got a friend who will snap some beautiful shots with his Nikon DSLR for ACD. Glorified Audi S4?? Hells yes.
