Month two, round two of great achievements for Angry Chinese Driver!

It’s been a fairly quiet month in terms of posts; only one article writting during the second month of this site’s existence stood out in hits, gaining anywhere from 15-50 hits a day since its creation, and that is The Denzel Car vs. The Po-Po Impala post. Ironically, its rise to popularity was under similar circumstances to the Facebook post: random keyword searches.

I got anything from “gangsta monte carlo” to “training day car” bringing traffic to this site, and I’ll bet that most were disappointed to find an article about toy model cars than info on the slick ride that Denzel cruised around in as the bad cop (can’t say I’m sympathetic, sorry).

About that Facebook post…surprisingly, around the one month mark of its first popularity surge (when I made a follow-up/post about it), hits spiked again, and this time to even higher levels. The most popular article to date, with over 600 hits and constantly in the top five posts according to hits, my Shut The Hell Up With Your “FACEBOOK IS SHUTTING DOWN” Crap! article decrying the gullible state of humanity (on Facebook, at least) achieved a one-day feat of 66 hits, breaking the previous top record of 53 set by the Porsche To Lower Car Prices In Canada article. And that cited number contributed greatly to the second-highest traffic hit count in a day (731 hits on September 27, 2007 is #1) with 180 hits. Since then, traffic has been steady at over 100 hits.

Other than that, things have been steady and solid. Goal for the future? To be on the WordPress top posts list. A far stretch, but if I’m lucky I’ll hit gold with a random post.
